Life begins the moment of conception, and Sawyer stands unflinchingly as the shield for every unborn child. There is no compromise, no gray area: abortion must not, and will not, occur under any circumstances. Sawyer’s opponent Geno has refused to take a stand against the abortion pill, which is a betrayal of our most vulnerable, and a stain on our values. I will fight tirelessly, with every ounce of my energy, to ensure that not a single abortion occurs in West Virginia. The time for talk is over, action is demanded, and I will deliver.

Protecting Our Second Amendment Rights
Sawyer is an unapologetic defender of the Second Amendment and believes that every law-abiding American has a God-given right to own firearms. A responsible gun owner himself, Sawyer encourages others to exercise this constitutional freedom safely and responsibly.

He knows that bad actors will always find ways to obtain weapons, no matter how many laws are passed. Taking guns away from law-abiding citizens does nothing to stop criminals—it only ignores the real problem and leaves families defenseless. As Sawyer often says, “The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to make sure the good guys can protect themselves.”

 

Protecting Medical Freedom

The sacred duty of every legislator is to defend the God-given freedoms of the people. Sawyer is a relentless champion of medical freedom and will stop at nothing to make this movement succeed. His opponent, Geno Chiarelli, has repeatedly voted against medical freedom bills, showing his utter disregard for the liberties of our district. It’s time to replace Geno with a leader who will put power back with the people. Sawyer will ensure that every West Virginian has the final say over their own health, not the government. Freedom will prevail, and Sawyer will lead the charge.

Protecting Women’s Sports and Spaces

Sawyer believes every woman and girl deserves fairness, safety, and respect. That’s why he will fight to keep women’s sports and private spaces truly for women only. Allowing biological men to compete in women’s athletics undermines years of hard work, training, and opportunity. And opening women’s bathrooms and locker rooms to men puts privacy and safety at risk.

Sawyer knows this issue is about more than politics—it’s about protecting the dignity of women and ensuring our daughters grow up in a world where they don’t have to compete against unfair odds or feel unsafe in spaces meant for them. In Charleston, he’ll stand strong for common sense, fairness, and the future of women’s safety.
